A Most Tedious Task

This is a post being forced upon a 12-year-old, just because he did some very naughty things that shouldn't be told to those it hasn't, having to write this post about a subject that's (ugh!) friendship.
Here now is that post.

Friendship is someone being kind to another and the other returning what the first has given and is very usual in a human life and it's in my life too. Friendship is a thing that gives you a good feeling to have. It can be experenced anytime, but it grows overtime. Learn from experience, it's nice.

My Room and My Trophy

Elf won the USCF Christmas Scholastic Tournament in Olathe, Kansas, today! He won two games and drew one.  "I worked pretty hard and my mom helped me a lot, although this day wasn't the best day of my life because my mom made me clean my room and throw away stuff I wasn't using and I cried over it," Elf said.  "Mom told me to throw away a humongous dust ball and I did not want to throw it away so I hid it and Mom will never find out where it went."

Guess the Animal

A gray animal,
Leering eyes,
Lurking underneath,
It kills other animals,
Getting mistaken for logs,
And kills humans,
Terrorizing people,
Oh, how dangerous,
Red tongues waiting in water.

I have been practicing a lot. Still I'm THE WORST violinist! My music sounds like a house of horrors, which proves I'm THE WORST violinist! My high notes seem like screeches, my low ones sound like groans. Which proves I'm THE WORST violinist!

A Pretend Apology

Dear Person,

I'm so very sorry for what I did. I know you trusted me to baby-sit your kids very calmly, but I couldn't help it. I'm so sorry that I did all that stuff.

I'm sorry I ate all your food and put some crumbs on the floor and dumped the trash on your bed. I'm sorry I cut off your table legs for swords for the kids to hit shampoo. I couldn't help it.

From,
Elf

Sam's Story, Part II

Sam knew that he had to worry about the present and the future. Right now he had to:

1: get his potato seeds and potatoes for food
2: find shelter.

And then cry. He had to worry about the living before he cries for the dead.

After he did the first step, he noticed that every-one had no home because of the fire. Sam thought :Why would the figures want to attack? What would they gain?

Sam, after some thought, decided to go out of Bag End to live in another place. It was hard because he wondered what would happen if he left like the time in "Lord of the Rings" when the Ruffians took over, but he was forced to leave, for the sake of his children.

When he was almost out of Bag End (with his children) he stopped. He saw the figures. He hid with his children. The figures went into the mud puddle in front of Sam! Sam followed them with what was left of his family down into the mud.

Sam's Adventure Part I

After Frodo left to the Gray Heavens (see in the book of "Lord of the Rings") Sam had a part missing that he could not cover yet he hid it from his family.

After Frodo left not much was going on except for writing the book that Frodo gave him (see in "Lord of the Rings) and tending to his wife, Rosie, and to the children (who are in average age of 13 and 14). Soon he would be doing more than even he would think to do.

One day, while Sam was growing potatoes and remembering the times he had with Frodo, he saw some figures heading from the East. He thought that it was nothing to think about. After 3 seconds all of Bag End was on fire(including his house)! He managed to get his children out with the book that Frodo gave him, but even in the fire Sam saw Rosie, dead.

When Sam got out he cried. It was a mixture of rage and sorrow. He cried becase he remembered the times he had with Rosie, he remembered the sunny after-noons he had with Rosie talking about their plans about their children, and about their children's future while they ate out-side. He cried because he would never see his dear Frodo again. He cried because he knew the figures lit the fire. Then, after 34 seconds he stopped crying because he knew he had to stop some-time, but he all-ways remembered Rosie and the times he had with her.

Of course you know about me, but if you don't, then keep reading.

I like things like, adventure, Star Trek, and Pokemon. I like to act. I like food like fruit, meat, lettuce, chips, and sandwiches. I like home school. I don't like over-working. I don't like food like potatoes, onions (that stuff gives me gas), or Asparagus without peanut-butter (vegetables).

I like to crack my knuckles. I like to play with my smaller brother and my small sister. I wear glasses sometimes. I have brown eyes. I like to eat and drink. I like to sleep in. I don't pick my eyelashes any more.

I have a compassionate mom who is perfect in nothing.

Thank you for reading!

Paper Polish Pottery

My brother and I have made "Paper Polish Pottery." I am thinking you want to know how to make it, too, pal.

You start by thinking what pattern you want it to be like. I would suggest a simple one so it would be easier on your first time. Your pattern should be symmetrical. Then get a stamp you make when you dab it on a cup, plate, or bowl like the one you thought of. You dab the stamp in some paint and then put it on the kitchen utencil, etc. and paint around it. Voila! You've got "Paper Polish Pottery."
My pattern was a fish scale. My mom cut the sponge to make the stamp the shape I wanted. It was very fun. You would enjoy it, too. Thank you for reading!

My Dad Drinks Pop

You are now seeing proof that my dad drinks pop. All day I serve pop to my dad. I go up the stairs and find the pop. Next, I go and take the pop and bring it down. Afterward, I give the pop to Dad. Then, I have to watch him drink it. OH, THE HORROR! AHHH! Actually, I do it on my own free will. Thank you for reading.

The Dragon in Fire

Captain's log: Stardate 6268.42 We found a new planet. We have sent a landing party down to explore it. It can support life forms.

"Mr. Spock," said Captain Kirk. "I think the landing party should be beamed up now."

"I can't, sir," said Mr. Spock.

They were only able to go down because they were forced down. "Forced, Mr. Spock?" said Kirk.

"Yes, forced because of something unknown teleborted them down and we can't beam them up."

Just then Mr. Spock disappeared. The landing party was Mr. Sulu and Dr. McCoy. They had to investigate. Captain Kirk placed the ship on red a lert and decided to go down himself.

"Space - the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life, and new civilizations, to boldly go where ho man has gone before."

STAR TREK

"Beam me down, Scotty," said Captain Kirk.Yes si-!?!Kirk disappeared. Kirk fond himself on a cliff above lava with fish made out of fire. Trees were on fire, but still producing air.The ground was 78 degrees. The gravity was x2 of the earth's.

"Captain?" said Mr.Spock. Kirk turned to see Dr. McCoy, Mr. Sulu, and Mr. Spock, chained. In a momant Kirk found himsesf chained. Then, they heared a laugh.

A man with a whip was laughing. The man was in a machine that was in the shape of a shaphere. He told his Dragon that was pulling the machine to eat the now unchained men. Captain Kirk ran wildly away. Spock just used the Vulcan death grip. The Dragon was defeated. Then amazingly they were beamed up.

So, the Enterprise continued.

Chessboards and Chess

Chess is a fun game, and it has a great board.  Different colors in chess are very important.  There are 64 squares on a chessboard.  There are 32 black squares and 32 white squares.  There are 32 pieces altogether.  Sixteen are white and 16 are black.  Two pieces cannot share the same square.  If one piece goes on the square with a piece already on it, you go on it and take away the piece that was on it.  You win the game by getting the king endangered on the square he's on and he can't get away on a different square.

I hope you enjoyed this.  Wait for next time I make a post about all the different pieces.

The Spartan Way

Hello, I am a Spartan, and I will tell you about my city. My city is a war city. We have rivals like Athens. Athens is the capital of Greece, and we are backwards to them. We do Olympics here as in every city. We make the best soldiers out of someone. We do actual attacks against neighborly cities. We learn to be obedient by a lot of punches to the kids. That teaches the kids a lesson! We have porridge for a regular meal. We are brave and barren, but women get more rights here than in other cities. It's the place to be!

Ancient Greece

The ancient Greeks' ways and ideas are very interesting.  In ancient days, they thought a bull called the Minotaur made earthquakes. They thought up gods like Zeus as one of their important gods up on Mount Olympus.  He is the king of all their gods and he is important because the Greeks thought he made thunderstorms.   They are excellent sailors and have been since ancient days.

Not on Tuesday, You Don't

We should not speak on Tuesdays or we won't like what will happen.  Listen!  Don't speak on that accursed day, or the god Mars will smash his planet on your house.  He will send his deadly scepter on you.  It will either kill you, or damage you permanently.

He will not allow you to speak again!  He will get you and eat you with "Heavenly Sauce:  Good and Nutritious."  The label says,"Contains honey, cheese, chocolate, eggs, secret ingredient, fire ball, milk, apple skins, salsas, pumpkin, a very yellow potassium fruit, glass, and meat." and "CAUTION: contains milk ingredients, and only gods should eat this."

So don't speak on Tuesdays unless you want adventure.

Tessellations

I made these tessellations myself. There nice, arn't they? I think there repeatable (except for the one on the right bottom). I think that the one that's next to the right bottom and under the white pattern looks like a rose. I like the bee-hive pattern. The top left one may be small, but it is symmetrical. The orange one is known as a rectangle. The middle left one is like a  star.

A Scientific Story

Once upon a time, there was a star. And the star said, "I hate these guys who are in me, so I think I will explode."

And that's just what he did. BOOM! And the Earth, Mars, the Sun, Venus, and et cetera was created. We were all apes at the time. And then a crater came towards Earth. It hit the Earth and because of its impact it flung out of the Earth's gravity, and became our moon.

Then aliens that were from Mars came and  used a flying saucer and took us away to Mars. We took the flying saucer and hit Earth and instantly we became men and women but some didn't and they remained monkeys and apes.

You might be thinking, "Where is the entirely iron space-ship today?" It is the center of the Earth. The Earth grew around the space-ship and now it's too deep to dig out. And that's the story of how the Earth was made.

Please, ask me all the questions you have.

Greeks' Religion

Greece is a religious place. It's full of statues and temples. They worship lots of gods all over! They worship the gods like Zeus, Hera, Apollo, Ares, Athena, Poseidon, Hermes, Persephone, Dionysus, Hades, Hephaestus, Artemis, Hestia, Demeter, and Aphrodite. The Greeks were dependent on their religion because they care about what the gods are doing. The gods can give them good wealth or give them a bad year.
